Message from MSO President John Kanyusik  It is an honor for me to serve as your president of the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists for 2009-2010. Your MSO officers and board directors are excellent individuals and we all look forward to another great year for the MSO. We are always looking for volunteers willing to serve in various positions, both in the MSO and the AAO. If you have an interest in serving our great specialty, I'm sure we can find a way for you to contribute that will be rewarding for you and beneficial for the organization. You can volunteer for your state/provincial (component) association as well. And, remember, there are lots of dental organizations that can use your assistance. Our Ad Interim meeting will be March 12-13, 2010, in St. Louis. Aside from the MSO business that is normally discussed, we will be discussing issues that will become before the House of Delegates at the AAO meeting in Washington, DC. If there are issues you are concerned about, be sure to let one of the officers or your component director know about them. The 2010 MSO Annual Session will be held on September 23 -25, 2010, at the famous Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado and will be held jointly with the Southern Association of Orthodontists. The meeting features a strong program of speakers for both doctors and staff with a variety of activities for your enjoyment.
