Message from the MSO President Thank you for electing me as president of the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists. I look forward to an exciting and productive year. We are always looking for volunteers for various positions, both in the MSO and the AAO. If you have any interest in serving your specialty, I'm sure we can find a position that will be beneficial to you and the organization. And, you also can volunteer for your component as well. Our next MSO Annual Session will be held on October 24-25, 2008, at the Sheraton Hotel in Iowa City, Iowa. The meeting features excellent speakers including Dr. James Hilgers, Dr. Jack Fisher and the University of Iowa faculty. Topics include a primer focusing on new tools in orthodontics, advancing the art and science of orthodontic anchorage, practical orthodontic treatment and recent research findings.
