The Missouri Society of Orthodontists is planning a continuing education meeting with Kansas in January 2009. They will meet next at the Annual Session in Iowa City in October 2008. Members who have any questions are encouraged to contact a Missouri officer.

The Missouri Dental Association had hoped to amend several bills in the legislature to increase the penalty for “practicing dentistry without a license” to a felony and to authorize a study to examine the dental access issue in the state. Due to the slow pace of the legislative year, this was not possible.
